The opening of ONS 2010 by the King of Norway took place just outside the stand of Aquadyne, VOCA and CLIMIT. The stand was part off the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) pavillion, and were used to promote our initiative and research project for enabling faster and more reliable subsea gas- and liquid detection and monitoring.
Aquadyne AS has together with VOCA AS received a grant for research and development of subsea gas detection and monitoring technology. The grant was awarded by the CLIMIT program and allows us to develop prototype technology that will aid operators to detect, classify and quantify gas and certain liquids under the sea level.
The cooperation between VOCA AS and Aquadyne AS started the autumn of 2009, and resulted in funding spring 2010. The team is currently working on technology survey, sensor technology testing and prototype software development.
VOCA will be present with a stand at the Offshore Technology Days exhibition in Stavanger Oct 19-20, 2011. Visit our stand 2812 in hall B in Stavanger Forum!
VOCA AS and Aquadyne AS were performing subsea gas detection trials in the Oslofjord 7th of December 2010.
VOCA AS was visited by NRK1 Sørlandet in connection with a report on the Agder counties where entrepreneurship is quite common.
Thank you for visiting the subsea detection stand of Aquadyne, VOCA and CLIMIT at this years ONS.
